Welcome to HairBySar. What you are about to see is the product of hard work, coffee, and very little sleep. With my love for all things beauty and my passion for perfecting my trade, I knew that this was my calling from a young age. I’m proud to offer my clients the very best in the world of beauty and aesthetics. My goal as a hairstylist is to provide high quality hair services that make people want to come back. Where do I see myself in 10 years? In my very own salon of course! I grow and I learn every day, and I hope to continue doing so by keeping up with the latest trends, taking the necessary classes to perfect my craft while also knowing the basics that everybody loves!

I was a member of a renowned choral group in Edmonton from the time I was 7 until 18, where I competed internationally in choral competitions. And I was also a soccer player for most of my life, where we won several provincial medals.

Initiative - I can work without always being told what to do. I show initiative by thinking for myself and taking action when needed. I can use my head, having the drive to achieve. Initiative requires self belief, this helps me be resilient and motivated to go out of my way to solve problems or do things without being reminded or asked.
Organization - Being organized in my life and work means I can plan my time and the things I have to do. I know what is most important, what should be done first and what will take the longest. Being prepared and having the things I need when I need them.
Accountability - I take ownership of the responsibilities that come my way. I take pride in my work and want to do it well to get the best results possible. I am justly proud of my task’s success, and I accept responsibility if it goes wrong. I make sure to look for ways to improve next time or find a better way of completing the task using my problem solving skills.
Communication - Requesting information from team members, delegating tasks, and sharing ideas, and learning new strategies. Building a strong professional relationship with my colleagues and clients.

Career and Teamwork Skills
I try to relate well with my colleagues and share equal responsibility to work towards a common goal. Even roles that are largely independent involve some level of teamwork, so a positive attitude and the ability to work with others is vital to my career development. Being a team player and having interpersonal skills is very important to me. I am also very versatile, being proficient and knowledgeable in various areas and bringing multiple options to a team. I can easily fit into new teams and improve their overall performance. I am reliable, I stick to deadlines, deliver my tasks, and over communicate any obstacles I have along the way. I am also respectful towards colleagues and clients, I listen actively and make sure they know they are the most important person in the room while they are speaking.

Since I am still starting out I haven't exactly found my "niche" when it comes to hair. I enjoy learning and adapting to my clients needs and I am still learning every single day. If I had to choose an area I excel in it would be highlights and balayage. But like I said, I am still learning and am just happy to have my hands in hair!
Personal Interests
I enjoy reading, singing, and playing piano in my spare time. I also enjoy outdoor activities with friends. I am an avid hockey fan and soccer player.
